Hello Coinracers,
Time for another update on our progress:
Game Development:
- We are working on fixing a compatibility fix for the game with DirectX11. This is what plagued our releases and limited a lot of players from actually being able to launch the game. This is our number 1 priority and is due to be fixed in the following days, hopefully before Christmas.
- The major update for the cars finetuning in terms of driving experience has been tested and is 100% working as expected
- The upgrade system has been tested, and we still need to fine-tune it, but from a functionality perspective, all works as expected. We still need to improve the amount of stats increase, especially for cornering, to make the upgraded cars more challenging to drive and at the same faster around the track
- The endurance upgrades are in the same status as the performance upgrades.
- Integration with a FIAT on-ramp provider has begun, we signed the contract and are ready to go.
- Implementation is underway and is our top priority for the first half of January.
Regarding the marketing side:
- We are currently defining the top level strategy for our chain agnostic narative, which means we are preparing for expansion to other networks. However, what networks, in what order and the time span between these expansions is yet to be defined.
- Our marketing approach will have 2 main directions:
- Web3 marketing (you can expect standardized marketing tactics here, as well as engaging with new tools and opportunities that have appeared lately with the aim of increasing our awareness and conversions specifically for crypto users)
- Web2 marketing (aimed at onboarding gamers and potentially new investors from outside the existing crypto community).
- Marketing tactics (what, when and how) will be defined based on the above mentioned strategy
Prerequisites:
- New website UX/UI is in the works. Currently we have the homepage, Game Modes, Media, FAQ and Contact pages done design wise and continue to work on the Features and Whitepaper pages.
Whitepaper & Documentation decks are in progress (50% done) - Communication channels (Telegram, Discord, Socials etc.) are currently under review and will be optimized accordingly. This can already be seen as we started optimizing the Telegram Community Channel by enforcing better anti-bot/scam measures.
- Newsletter integration optimization (90% done)
- Content planning software integration (60% done)
- Partnerships negotiations (in progress, as this is a very work intensive process, we can’t really give a completion percentage, however, our team has already initiated contact with many influencers, platforms, service providers etc. to prepare for the launch of our marketing campaign)
- Team expansion (as we ramp up our marketing campaign, we require certain roles to be filled, currently we are in the process of defining these roles and actively looking for new talent to onboard in the team)
As we progress, new things will be added to prerequisites while others will be removed upon completion.
