Hello Coinracers,
Been a while since our last entry in the Dev Diary, however, we have been working on a lot of new things! So let’s get right into it:
Game Development:
- The new matchmaking system was implemented and deployed to production. Now there shouldn’t be any issues in finding game lobbies.
- Friends Party system is in development. You will be able to join together with 2 of your friends in the same race.
- As we previously mentioned, our backend infrastructure received a major overhaul. We worked in the passed month on updating our game in accordance with the new features. The feature list and development status is as follows:
- Item Catalogue now supports bundles out of the box -> Done
- Item Catalogue now supports multiple in-game currencies -> Done
- Items can now be composed of sub-items (this goes very well with our cars for example) -> Done
- Bundles can be composed of sub-bundles -> Done
- Security update on Cloud Scripting and DataBase (server side) -> Done and deployed
- Better and higher quality Meta definitions for items (this will better help integration with the NFT component of the game) -> Done
- Better game analytics -> Done
- The new tournament will be ready for deployment as scheduled, at the end of May
- The Destruction Derby arena received a major overhaul, with new obstacles added, multiple ramps and visual updates. It is already deployed to production, so try it out and let us know your feedback.
- The new UX/UI Design is 60% done and is planned to go into the development phase in early June.
- Development on the new Marshy Gardens Track is underway and will be pushed to production in the second half of May. (attached the artwork design for it)
